Using 'Google Hangouts', Mr. Patterson becomes your school's online English Teacher. He puts his 43 years of working with students as a drama director and as a classroom teacher to work. He meets with them once a week via online interaction, provides guidance and assignments for the week, and even corrects and grades compositions. The primary goal is increased literacy. They will learn grammar concepts, will start a writing portfolio, do book reports, explore the wonderful world of spelling and vocabulary development, study literature and be on their way to greater literary mastery. On a per semester basis, we meet 12-14 times per semester one morning each week. Students are given enough assignments to last the week.
