Students learn by application the spelling rules that govern spelling in English. These cards become a visual review of how those rules work. There are over 40 rules that are introduced over the course of this process. When a new rule is to be learned, inevitably the process provides a word that uses that rule which they in turn will analyze, mark and record. Multiple words using the same rule inevitably show up as a point of review. Use these cards to introduce the rule and to spiral back to rules not yet fully mastered. When students can explain how a rule works, they know the rule. Since their effectiveness is dependent upon the specific manner in which they are to be introduced, as a first time purchase, they must be a part of the Foundation Stones Teacher Package.
